Carnitas is a flavorful braised dish originating from the state of Michoacán . We slow cook our carnitas with chiles, citrus, garlic, and herbs.
Traditionally barbacoa is cooked over an open fire or buried in a hole covered with agave. However we cook ours in the oven with a blend of cumin, oregano, and cloves. FUN FACT: Barbacoa is where the word barbecue comes from.
